Marie Jeong

AI delivery and enablement, Auckland

My design background is why I can build the thing, not just brief it. I work between the people who decide what gets built and the people who build it, and I stay until it ships.

Pure: where the data lives
Customers asked where Pure's servers were and how it was hosted. I found the answers, including some not every account or product manager knew, and checked them against Korean data handling policy before rollout.
Role
Product Specialist
Key contribution
Went past the support documents to the configuration teams for the AWS hosting detail, then verified the configuration against South Korean government data handling policy before rollout.

Pure: from tickets to outreach
Forty to fifty support tickets a month, read together instead of one at a time. The patterns became an outreach campaign and went to the Support and Product teams.
Role
Product Specialist
Key contribution
Exported the monthly tickets, categorised them with AI, and found the recurring issues, including non technical customers trying to use the Pure API. That drove the RUOK outreach campaign.

Code to Figma with MCP
I had a working prototype and no design file. So I connected Claude Code to Figma, had it read the codebase, and had it write the design system and key screens into Figma.
Role
Set it up, and I design in it
Key contribution
Connected Claude Code to Figma through MCP and generated the library from a codebase nobody had ever drawn: 17 components, 35 variants, 6 screens, 29 two mode design tokens.

Design System Audit Plugin
A Figma plugin I wrote to audit our own design files against our own design system, with an OpenAI chat surface for recommendations in context.
Role
Built it, solo
Key contribution
Spotted the drift, built the tool on the Figma plugin API and the OpenAI API in TypeScript, and recorded honestly why it was not kept.

ZOZOFIT × Apple Health
Connecting Apple Health to a 3D body scanning app. The business wanted engagement; users wanted to know what was changing their body.
Role
Product Manager · Product Designer
Key contribution
Owned the feature end to end. Reframed it from reporting to causation, lifting acquisition and retention 10% in three months.

Conma
An integrated marketing platform with no AI in it and a board that wanted some. I set the strategy and chose the two least glamorous features on the list.
Role
Product Manager, contract
Key contribution
Owned the AI strategy and roadmap, and defined the platform's first generative features with the developers rather than handing them a spec. Both shipped and are in use.
